With so many (perhaps even a million!) bloggers out there, it can be tough to decide who to listen to. Even on a niche dominated mostly by women, there are still thousands of blogs and online personalities to sift through. So here at SHC, we’ve made our own list of what we think are the TOP beauty, hair and makeup bloggers 🙂

We did not just base this on the number of followers these bloggers have, but rather on the impact they’re making in the world. Beauty, after all, is more than just a pretty face or beautiful hair. Keep an eye out for this page – we’ll continually add to this list!

Beauty Bloggers WE LOVE:

Laura @ MyNewestAddiction.com

A self-confessed cosmetics junkie, Laura blogs mainly about makeup and skincare, and occasionally about hair care and nail polish. What started as her beauty diary turned into something much more. She does product reviews as people started asking her for recommendations. She also shares fashion finds and personal stories. You can feel the passion she has for makeup in her blog. We particularly love the Audrey Hepburn and Coco Chanel quotes she has on her About Me page! 😉

Natural Hair Care Bloggers

Natural black hair can be tough to manage, especially if you’re transitioning out of hair weaves & relaxed hair. A few years ago, you’ll hardly find any resources online on how to care for Type4a/b/c hair. But thankfully, we have these brave ladies who went against the social pressure of having “straight relaxed hair” and went on to embrace their natural hair. Let’s get to know them!

Patrice @ Afrobella.com

Natural-haired ladies would all recognize Afrobella. Born in Trinidad, Patrice has grown her award-winning blog to the big brand that it is today. Being one of the VIP Beauty Bloggers, she has been featured in several magazines including Glamour, Essence, Ebony, Fast Company. Dubbed as the ‘Godmother of Brown Beauty Blogging’, she is truly an online influencer. She blogs not only about beauty, makeup, hair and style, but also about food, life reflections and supporting local black-owned businesses.
